About UsIf you enjoy your ATV, boating, fishing, hiking and biking, Picture Mountain RV Park is an excellent starting and ending location. There are miles of ATV, hiking and biking trails just outside the Park's back gate. Roosevelt Lake is less than 15 minutes away so boating and fishing couldn't be more accessible. All our spaces are generously sized and easily accommodate an ATV trailer and/or boat trailer.
We cater to long term guests and offer a quiet "country neighborhood" setting. Short term spaces are available by the night or weekly rate.
We have 95 large tree shaded spaces in a quiet setting with grassy common areas. Dogs are welcome , but please respect all leash laws. Excellent fishing at nearby Roosevelt and Apache Lakes. We host Pit Barbecues every Fall and Spring for all Park residents. We host several Park ATV Rides to the surrounding area. April is the time to see beautiful cacti in bloom. Enjoy monthly campfire pot lucks. Great local bird hunting for quail and dove. The Mogollon Rim is just a 45 minute drive north and the Tonto National Monument Cliff dwellings are a short 20 minute drive to the south . Lots of wildlife, javelina, bobcat,white tail and mule deer,desert bighorn sheep, also bear and lions at higher elevations nearby Many species of song birds call the park home. This summer I can add Lazuli Buntings, Black-headed Grosbeaks, Inca doves and Summer Tanagers to bird sightings in our park.

HistoryPicture Mountain Rv Park was begun in 2001 and we welcomed our first guests in 2004. Since then we have enjoyed providing our guests a unique and casual western RV'ing experience. We have 95 spaces in a secluded natural setting with spectacular views of the surrounding mountains, including Four Peaks, Mount Ord, the Matzatzals and Sierra Anchas.
Tonto BasinHas several restaurants, a full service grocery store with deli counter, a convenience store, excellent hardware store and gas and diesel sales. Wednesday night Cowboy Church and Several other local churches. The warmest month of the year is July with an average maximum temperature of 99.99 degrees Fahrenheit, while the coldest month of the year is December with an average minimum temperature of 30.00 degrees Fahrenheit. |
